Bio

Sydney completed her MS in Viticulture and Enology in 2025, after graduating with a degree in Agricultural and Medical Biotechnology from the University of Kentucky in 2022. She researched the enological potential of indigenous California yeasts, with the goal of identifying strains that can advance sustainable winemaking practices and produce wines that align with changing market trends and environmental conditions. Sydney is now working in the California wine industry with her first internship at Opus One in Napa for harvest 2025.
