Delaney Dyer

Delaney is a first-year master’s student in the Department of Viticulture and Enology, and she joined the Montpetit Lab in January 2026. She received her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from The University of Texas at Austin in 2025, where she worked on profiling secondary metabolites in Texas grapevines and wines. Her current research focuses on leveraging volatile fingerprint sensing technology for smoke taint detection in California grapes and wines.
