Angelika Zak

Angelika joined the lab in 2024 as a Microbiology Ph.D. student. After obtaining her master's in Biotechnology from Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Poland, she worked in the alternative protein industry in Washington State and West Sacramento. Her current research bridges synthetic biology and cellular agriculture, focusing on yeast engineering for applications in cultivated meat.
