A Spring of New Faces and New Places

New faces: this spring quarter we welcomed two new Ph.D. students, Dani Riley and Angelika Zak, to the Montpetit group. Excited to have these two in the group, they are the first to join the lab from the Microbiology graduate group at UC Davis. 

Newish Places: Theresa and Ryuta were also off to new places, well not so new for Theresa since she grew up there, attending the RNA Society meeting in San Diego. At the meeting Ryuta was able to present his work as a poster, while Theresa gave a talk in the Transcription, Chromatin, and Epigenetics session.
