Pragyan Singh

Pragyan joined the lab in May 2023 as a postdoc after obtaining her Ph.D. in 2019 from Jadavpur University in India and postdoc training from Tel Aviv University in Israel within the laboratory of Dr. Martin Kupiec. Her Ph.D. work focused mainly on quality control and regulation of eukaryotic gene expression, mRNA decay and surveillance in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Her postdoc research experience involved chromatin and genome instability and its effect on telomere maintenance and DNA replication. She is now turning her interests to how gene expression is regulated at the level of nuclear RNA export.
